We are proud to announce our Second Annual Lakeview Road Fire Training Symposium will take place Tuesday September 13th, 2022 at 6pm. This year, our annual free training will be held in conjunction with the DVFA Conference at the Chase Center (815 Justison Street). A special guest presentation of “Sports Psychology for the Fire Service” will be presented by Interstate Rescue. Rehoboth house fire

Rehoboth Beach Firefighters, assisted by Lewes Fire Department, Bethany Beach Fire Dept, Milton Fire Department Inc. Sta. 85, Indian River Vol Fire Co, Millsboro Fire Company,, and Sussex County EMS, responded to a Structure Fire at 21 Westside Drive in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club at 3:56 am on Wednesday, August 17th. Crews arrived to find fire showing from the house, which was occupied, with all subjects after being alerted by the Smoke Alarm System in residence. Firefighters battled the flames for 2 hours before bringing it under control at 5:42 am. Fire Crews remained on the scene until 7:45 am, extinguishing hot spots before clearing the incident. There were no injuries. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating. Thank You to all the mutual aid companies for their assistance at the scene and stand-by.
