Minquas Fire assists Wilmington Manor on house fire.

Yesterday, just after 1400hrs, Station 23 was alerted to assist Station 28 on house fire in the 200 block of Jefferson Avenue. Engine and Deputy Chief 23 responded. Units arrived to find fire showing from a two story single family dwelling. Crews placed multiple hand lines in service to extinguish fire on both floors.
Earlier that morning, crews participated with “port a tank” and tanker familiarization with Cranston Heights, Hockessin, and West Grove Fire Companies.
