Odessa responds for a house fire.

Yesterday, August 26 volunteers & Career staff from the Odessa Fire Company had a busy day. It all started around 11am with a vehicle crash with entrapment at Sixth & Main Street, a working house fire in the 100 block of Thomas Landing road, another vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer on Route 1 at Drawyer’s Creek bridge and finally a rescue assist the Delaware City Fire Company on a house fire off of Red lion Road. We were assisted by the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, Townsend Fire Company, Port Penn Fire Company, Citizens Hose company of Smyrna and the Clayton Fire Company in several of the incidents. The Delaware State Fire Marshal office is investigating the house fire on Thomas Landing Road.
The Christiana Fire Engine-6 & A-6 along with Ladder-28 from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company and Engine-18 from the Goodwill Fire Company of New Castle provided fire, rescue and EMS coverage for the MOT area while we were working at the house fire.
