Camden - Wyoming respond for commercial fire.

On Friday, September 3rd just after 5 pm, the Kent County Emergency Operations Center started to receive numerous calls of a building fire at 135 S Caesar Rodney Avenue.
At 505 PM, the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company was dispatched for a working structure fire along with mutual aide from the Dover Fire Dept. for the ladder company, Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company for the rescue and ambulance company and the Kent County Department of Public Safety for the EMS stand by.
Command 41 arrived just minutes after the dispatch to find a one story auto repair facility with smoke showing. Engine 41 arrived just after that and stretched a hand line into the structure and secured a water supply from the hydrant. As the crew from Engine 41 started to put water on the fire, Tower 41 arrived and laddered the structure and started searches.
Ladder 46-1 and Squad 46-1 were already on the street clearing a run in their own district and arrived quickly to assist crews on scene. Rescue 55 and Engine 55-4 also assisted with overhaul.
The fire was placed under control quickly and the scene was turned over the the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office for investigation.
Little Creek Fire Company provided the cover at Station 41 with Squad 54.
