Rehoboth Beach Responds to Commercial Structure Fire

On Saturday May 1st, 2021 the Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Indian River Fire Departments were alerted for a Commercial Structure Fire at Henlopen Junction. Upon arrival of Chief Snyder, he reported Heavy Fire Showing from an end of the row Strip Mall with fire traveling the cockloft and immediate Bravo exposures. Several propane tanks with fire impingement and venting were also an immediate concern. As units arrived strategic operations commenced and the fire was brought under control.
