The Wilmington Manor and Christiana Fire Companies regretfully announce the passing of beloved member Edward “Mike” Rush who passed away on Tuesday October 27th, 2020. Mike leaves behind his wife Winnie, Daughters Megan and Barbara and Grandson Seamus. He was a brother, uncle, cousin, father-in-law and friend to so many of us. Mike was an honored Marine who served his Country proudly. He was the owner of Rush Uniform, a family business. Mike was very involved in the Fire Service globally, not just in Delaware. He was an honorary member with several Fire Companies in Delaware. Mike served in various Fire Service organizations, and was especially proud of his time as President of the Delaware State Fire Chief’s Association. Newark, DE 19702 Mass: Thursday November 5th, 2020 11:00 AM Saint Margaret of Scotland Parish 2431 Frazier Rd. Newark, DE 19702 Internment: Thursday November 5th, 2020 Immediately following Mass Saint Rose of Lima Church 301 Lock St. Chesapeake City, MD 21915 This will be a full Firefighter’s Funeral.
