An hour after clearing Chesapeake City, Aetna was dispatched for Engine and Ladder to assist Singerly Fire Company on a tractor trailer fire with exposure to a building on Fletchwood Road in Elkton, MD. Simultaneously Aetna was dispatched for a fire alarm at Thorn Flats. Engine 9 responded to Elkton while Squad 9 handled the fire alarm and then responded to Elkton as well. Crews operated for just under two hours. At 0740 this morning Aetna was again dispatched to assist Singerly Fire Company on a tractor trailer fire in the 1400 block of Elkton Road.
