Harrington assists Farmington on a working fire

Thursday (10/07/2021), at approximately 1230hrs., the station was alerted for the tanker company assist of Sta. 47 (Farmington) for the mutual aid response for a large non-dwelling on fire in the unit block of Andrewville Rd. Units responded and arrived to find a chicken house on fire with smoke showing. Crews deployed multiple hose lines and began to attack the fire. Command 47 requested a second and third alarm assignment to the scene to assist with suppression efforts. Once all fire was knocked down, command placed the incident under control and held units on scene for an extended period of time for overhaul. Units operated on scene for approximately 3 hours.
